The opening of the Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre’s library

The launching ceremony of the book “Kun Iam Ecumenical Centre” and the opening of the Centre’s library organized by the Cultural Institute and the IPOR were held on 13 of October at 18h00.  The Vice-president Ms. Maggie Mak, the President of IPOR Ms. Ana Paula Laborinho and the author Architect Cristina Leiria attended the ceremony.

Classical Chinese Music to Celebrate Mid-Autumn Festival
To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Museum of Macao of Cultural Institute organized two traditional Chinese music concerts on 12th and 13th of September in the Ecumenical Center Kun Iam.  The music was presented successfully by the Chinese Orchestra of Cultural Institute, and it was a rare opportunity for the citizens of Macao to visit the Center at night as well as to listen to the traditional Chinese music in a pleasant environment.

Invitation

Since the grand opening of The Kun Iam Ecumenical Center at the end of March, there have been an average of 15000 people each month. For the awareness of the Center, the Cultural Institute of Macao/ Museum of Macao, during 27 of September to 26 of November, are going to organize a small exhibition named "Religious Statues" with the purpose to show the public some statues of the Goddess of Kun Iam and some religious objects.
