After the research and restoration work of the mural paintings in the church was done, the church was reopened on the 3 September, 1999.  The history of the mural paintings spans over 200 hundreds years.  Opening hours are from 10am-5pm.  Macau citizens and visitors can visit and observe these paintings which represent a combination of Chinese and Western symbols.
