 Archaeological Course 2001 – 02.07.2001 to 30.08.2001 Archaeology knowledge and heritage conservation The Archaeological activity was organized by the Cultural Institute/Museum of Macao during July and August 2000, this activity was the first held in Macao with the participation of various secondary school students. Due to the success of last year, the Museum of Macao plans  to continue this summer activity to divulge archaeological excavation and workmanship which is important for a city of culture like Macao.This year, the Museum of Macau organized this activity together with three secondary schools of Macau: Pui Ching Secondary School, Lou Hau Secondary School and Luis Gonzaga Gomes Secondary School. The activity includes: general knowledge and visit to the Museum of Macau, history and what is archaeology, cleaning of archaeologic fragments, knowledge of ceramics, conference, city walk, methods and processing of archaeologic excavation, small model of archaeologic excavation and trip to Zhuhai. End of course: Graduation ceremony with distribution of certificates and trophies.  |
