Donation Ceremony of Mr. Tam Van Iao Paintings and Calligraphy by the Association of Arts and Painting “Hang Ian”of Macao.

The Museum of Macao organized a ceremony on the 19th August 2002 at 3:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Museum of Macao. This ceremony was a donation of 87 works of calligraphy and paintings of Mr. Tam Van Iao by the Association of Arts and Painting “Hang Ian” of Macao. Mr. Tam Van Iao was the first President of the Association and a famous calligrapher in Macao. He passed away in 2001.

During the ceremony, the President of the Association of Arts and Painting “Hang Ian” of Macao, Mr. David H. C. Chio, the descendants of Mr. Tam Van Iao, the Vice-President of the Cultural Institute Subst., Ms. Alice Wong and the Director of the Museum of Macao, Ms. Iok Lan Fu Barreto were also present.
