On World Children’s Day Come and spend an unforgettable day at the Museum of Macao with your kids!
With World Children’s Day on our doorstep, the Museum of Macao of the Cultural Affairs Bureau will organize a day full of activities and games for parents and kids. Entrance to the Museum of Macao will be free on the 1st June, World Children’s Day, for children 12 years old and under. There will be many different souvenirs to win! On Sunday 29 May, aside from free entry for children (12 years old and under and accompanied by two adults maximum), the Museum of Macao will organize several interactive games such as, Cantonese Opera for Kids, clown show, music, magic show and souvenirs (limited quantity). After parents have visited the Museum, they can take a walk through the Fortress Garden with their kids and discover the access link from St. Lazarus’s district. An exhibition entitled “A Macao Heritage Tour Exhibition”, displaying photographs and information regarding Historical trails and scenic spots can be visited at the new Monte Fort Corridor. After this, you can stroll through one of Macao’s most famous historical areas. The Museum is open to the public daily (except on Mondays) from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Last tickets are sold at 5:30 p.m. The 15th of each month is free entry (if not coinciding with a Monday).
