The Museum of Macao welcomes children and their parents in 
Celebrating World Children’s Day



The World Children’s Day celebrated on 1st June, was a wonderful occasion to visit the Museum of Macao with the family. To mark the day, the Cultural Institute of the S.A.R of Macao organized a variety of exciting and educational activities for parents and their children.

On this day, children 12 years and under accompanied by an adult enjoyed special treatment when they visit the Museum. For each two children accompanied by an adult entry to the Museum was free and some souvenirs on offer as well. The Museum opened to the public from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. 

In the Fortress Garden, the Museum of Macao organized a Chinese lantern workshop introducing the younger generation to this tradition form of Chinese art. This workshop ran from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. and from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. and free to the public. 

Come and take part in our activities and spend a great day with your children getting to know the culture and history of Macao.
