INTERNATIONAL MUSEUM DAY

AT THE MUSEUM OF MACAO

2003

International Museum Day, 18th May 2003 is an important day for the Museums around the world to promote their collections and to create incentives for the public. The Museum of Macao took this opportunity to organize a program for the local public in a way of promoting Macao’s cultural and historical heritage.

The activities within the Museum of Macao on 18th May 2003 were free and these programs  focused mainly on cultural aspects. We  invited the Chinese Teaism Association of Macao to present a ceremony in the Museum and a well-known local artist Mr. Wong Cheong Tao who demonstrated the making of flour dough figurines and profile cuts-out. An Information Booklet of Macao Museums was distributed freely to the public.
