The Museum of Macao celebrates

International Museum Day

 


During the month of May the Museum of Macao/ Cultural Institute will be organizing a series of activities to celebrate International Museum Day (18 May).

Over the past years, International Museum Day was organized with the collaboration of all the Museums in Macao. This year on the 15th and 16th of May in Leal Senado Square, 15 of Macao’s Museums are putting together a series of activities, ranging from exhibitions, games, music shows, theatre and folk dance and questionnaires with great prizes to be won. A traditional local rickshaw will also be on display in the Leal Senado Square (Saturday, 15 May, from 3 p.m.- 6 p.m. and Sunday, from 1 p.m. – 6 p.m).
The Macao Chinese Orchestra will also be performing on 16 Sunday at 3 p.m. 

Within the Museum of Macao are a series of activities as follows:

23/5 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m. Demonstration of Dragon style Calligraphy Museu de Macau


      

All activities are free and everyone is welcome to visit the Museum of Macao.
