THE PAINTINGS,CALLIGRAPHIE AND SEALS OF QI BAISHI

The first temporary exhibition will be held during July 17 until August 16, 1998 in the Temporary Exhibition Hall of the Museum of Macau. This exhibition will focus on the art of Master Qi Baishi (1863-1957). Qi was one of the greatest comtemporary artists of the traditional Chinese art. His name is well known throughout the world and his works are highly appreciated by the Chinese art lovers and international collectors. This exhibition includes Qi's sixty paintings and caligraphies and forty seals. All works are from the collection of the Hunan Provincial Museum.
