Scroll Paintings and Calligraphy from Shanghai

Location: Tourism Activities Centre - Conference Room, 1st Floor.

Paintings and Calligraphy scrolls (10 scrolls) creations of more than one hundred painters and calligraphers from Shanghai. Comprising of famous specialists like Zheng Shi Fa, Qiao Mu, Lu Yi Fei...... etc. These scrolls were offered to the Museum of Macao, to celebrate Macao's return to the People's Republic of China in December of 1999. The collection is made up of 117 works and the SARM symbol, the lotus is the central theme. These artistic works have a special symbolic significance and are of great value for the Macao citizen. This exhibition will permit the population of Macao as well as its visitors to appreciate the art of painting and calligraphy of the Shanghai artists.
