The docent service constitutes an important part of Museum education. Through the guidance provided by docents, the public can gain an in-depth understanding of the historical background and significance of exhibits. Hence, the docent represents a vital communication bridge between museums and the public.

　　Interested parties may reserve docent services by downloading and completing the form from the Docent Services column of this website and faxing it to the Macao Museum on 853-2835 8503.

　　Docent services are provided in Cantonese or Mandarin every Thursday from 11:00am-12:00pm, 3:00pm-4:00pm, and every Saturday and Sunday from 3:00pm-4:00pm, and 4:00pm-5:00pm. docent services for the public.Residents and tourists are welcome to join sessions without making an advance booking.

　　Docent services will be specially arranged whenever a temporary exhibition is held at the Macao Museum.
