常宗豪教授，號恕齋，山東牟平人。一九四七年來港，從廖志灃先生習四書詩文；五十年代，獲葉哲豪，黃磊生，靳微天，顧理夫，趙世銘諸先生對書畫藝術之啟迪，一九五八年加入香港中國美術協會，作品首次參加該會年展。 五十年代先後就讀華僑、經緯兩書院，得親炙陳湛銓，李硯山，熊潤桐，馮康侯，梁簡能，陳汀蘭，羅冠樵諸先生。六十年代初入讀中文大學，從高仲華先生讀禮，周子範先生讀語言學，夏書枚、鄭水心先生讀詞學，李棪齋先生讀甲骨金文，以優異成績結業留校任教...
