Collection Description:
The painting was created by Zhang Guchu in 1940 for the Macao poet Feng Yinxue, which depicts in ink and wash the landscape around Colina da Penha in Macao. In the painting, the river is studded with fishing boats and lush mountains are dotted by fishing sheds, portraying the cultural customs of fishermen in Macao in its old days.
