Armorial porcelain globular vase decorated in famille verte enamels with figures, flowers and birds in reserved panels
This globular vase follows the style of the famille verte export porcelain of the 18th century. It is decorated with a Portuguese coat of arms, accompanied by a colourful ribbon pattern with the inscription of “The Governor’s Palace”. The body of the vase is painted with flowers, dotted with geometric patterns, and elaborately matched with commonplace Chinese patterns of flowers and birds and scenes of daily life.
