Three items from Macao successfully inscribed on National Intangible Cultural Heritage List

On 11th June, the Ministry of Culture of the State Council of the PRC proclaimed in Macao that three declared entities of the Macao SAR – ‘Cantonese Naamyam (Singing and Narrative Songs)’, ‘Macao Taoist Ritual Music’ and ‘Festival of the Drunken Dragon’ – had been successfully inscribed as the third batch of the Intangible Cultural Heritage List at national level. The Macao people are significantly encouraged by the inscription.
