Wood-shaving

A razor was used to shave gently on the surface of elm wood, in order to produce the shavings which were to be soaked in hot water and ooze glutinous liquid. The liquid can be paved to hair, harden it into a particular hairstyle with a comb, and make it shiny and dark.
